I used to actually slide down the stairs ON PURPOSE in a sleeping bag, so the *thump* *thump* *thump* as I hit each step was not all that unfamiliar. I didn't slide all the way to the bottom of the stairs because I was able to stick my foot in between two spindles in the railing (yes, the same oak railing that after living only 6 years in my home noticed that one spindle is cherry) and stop the fall. What was disturbing was this, when I let Josh know that story, he asked if it was broken. "My foot?" "No, the railing." THANKS A LOT, JOSH! No, I didn't break the railing or MY FOOT or my butt or elbow or neck!

ok so he saw that I was up walking around and not still writhing on the stairs, so it is safe to say he knew I was ok?
